The TKF 22 is used in the histology laboratory for rapid freezing of kerosene blocks. As many as 180 kerosene blocks fit into the seamless, deep-drawn stainless steel cooling tray. The powerful cooling unit provides a maximum cooling temperature of -35 °C (depending on the ambient temperature) which is reached in about 10 minutes.
The TKF 22 has precise electronic temperature control. Temperatures can be set and adjusted on the control panel with the user-friendly membrane keypad. It contains a digital display and is placed right above the cooling tray , making it easily accessible and readable at any time.
