The Tissue Flotation Bath TFB 35 is an LED-lit, rectangular stretching bath for kerosene coupes that has been tried and tested in the routine of daily laboratory work. The central component is the removable glass bowl, under which there is an LED light strip. The light comes from the rear edge below the glass bowl, providing excellent visibility of the kerosene coupes on the water surface.

The glass bowl of the TFB 35,000 has a capacity of 1.5 liters that can be easily removed and also cleaned in the dishwasher. A second model, the TFB 35,500, has a higher glass bowl with a capacity of 2.8 liters. In addition to a removable glass bowl, the TFB 35 has a heated work surface on the front. This is covered with a resistant black plastic and provides ample space for laying down slides to dry.

The temperature is set and controlled by a digital controller. To ensure optimal temperature control, the TFB 35 features a temperature sensor immersed in the glass bowl that constantly measures the water temperature. A matching lid, which provides temperature stability and protection from dirt when not in use, is available separately.
