The COP 30 is a simple but powerful cooling plate. It is ideal for cooling kerosene blocks to prepare them for cutting with the microtome. The working temperature of -15 °C can be reached within about 30 minutes. The large polished stainless steel surface accommodates up to 100 standard kerosene blocks.
Without any restriction to the left, right and forward, the blocks can be easily placed and sorted. A circumferential heating band prevents the edge area from freezing. The COP 30 is controlled via an intuitive membrane keypad to set the desired temperature. During operation, the current temperature is displayed in a digital display above the cooling surface.
